SHIPPING POLICY

Customs, Tariff & Import Duty Information

At Seagull Watch Company, we aim to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. Please review the following important information regarding taxes, customs, and import duties.

Taxes Included Destinations

​

Taxes and duties are included in the final checkout price for the following destinations:

  • European Union (EU) countries

  • United States (USA)

  • Canada

  • United Kingdom (UK)

  • Australia

  • Singapore

For these regions, customers should not normally be required to pay additional import taxes or duties upon delivery.

Other International Destinations

​

For all other destinations not listed above, customers are responsible for checking and paying any applicable import taxes, customs duties, VAT/GST, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their local customs authorities.

We recommend contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of your country’s import requirements before placing an order.

Customs Declarations & Compliance

​

We fully comply with international customs regulations by accurately declaring product value, contents, and country of origin on all shipments.

We do not accept requests to alter, undervalue, or misrepresent customs documentation under any circumstances.

Consequences of Non-Payment or Refused Shipments

​

If customs duties, taxes, or import fees are refused or left unpaid, customs authorities may delay, return, hold, or destroy the parcel.

In such cases:

  • No refund will be issued

  • Any return shipping fees, customs charges, storage fees, or penalties will be the customer’s responsibility

Processing and Shipping Information:

​

We value your satisfaction and strive to provide a smooth order processing and shipping experience. Please take note of the following information:

​

  1. Processing Information: When checking out with your delivery address, you will see the option for free shipping. Most orders qualify for free shipping, and they will be processed within 1-5 working days. We aim to ensure prompt delivery of your order. Orders eligible for free shipping will be sent via ground delivery at no additional cost.
     

  2. Shipping Methods: While we offer free shipping, we reserve the right to determine the specific shipping method for your order. Our primary carriers are DHL, and all parcels are tracked for your convenience. Please anticipate that orders shipped via DHL may take up to 15 days for door-to-door delivery.
     

  3. PO Box Addresses: Please note that we are unable to ship to PO box addresses.
     

  4. We require the billing and shipping addresses to be the same for customs declaration and fraud prevention. If there is a discrepancy, a refund will be initiated for your order.
     

  5. Ensuring Successful Residential Deliveries: For successful residential deliveries, we recommend registering your private receivers at www.ondemand.dhl.com. This platform allows them to choose preferred delivery options, including non-contact delivery, ensuring a convenient and tailored experience.​

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

International Orders: If you receive a damaged or missing item in an international order, you must initiate and finalize an insurance claim before we can provide compensation or a replacement. Please contact https://www.seagullwatchco.com/contact within five business days of delivery to file a claim. Keep the shipping box as our insurance company may want to inspect it. If the item is not received at all, we must wait 45 days after the shipment date to conduct an insurance claim.

Returns Policy:

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and covered under our warranty policy. It must also be in its original packaging, and you must provide a receipt or proof of purchase. Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts due to reasons not attributable to our error may not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds (if applicable): Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days.  a processing fee of 5% will apply

Change of Mind or Order Cancellation Refunds: If you request a refund due to a change of mind or wish to cancel your order after payment has been made, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount. This fee covers administrative and payment processing costs. Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment once approved and may take several business days to appear, depending on your payment provider.​ Please be aware that once an order is processed and ready for shipment, we cannot guarantee that the parcel can be stopped from shipping. If the parcel is already in transit, it will not be possible to cancel the order or prevent delivery.

Return Merchandise Authorization: All returns are subject to a Return Merchandise Authorization from seagullwatchco.com. Special items may have a limited return policy (please see the Special Orders section below). All purchases, accessories, serial-numbered security tags (if provided), and packing materials must be in new condition to avoid refusal of the returned merchandise or restocking fees of 25% for used or damaged items.

Special Orders
 

Return Merchandise Authorization: All returns are subject to a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from seagullwatchco.com. Special items may have a limited return policy, which is detailed below.

  1. Limited Return Policy:

    • Special orders may not be eligible for standard return policies. Please review the specific return terms for your special order at the time of purchase.

    • Items classified as special orders are identified during the purchasing process and may include custom, limited edition, or personalized products.

  2. Condition of Returns:

    • All returns must include the original accessories, serial-numbered security tags (if provided), and packing materials.

    • Items must be in new, unused condition. Returned merchandise that shows signs of use or damage may be subject to refusal or a restocking fee of 25%.

  3. Restocking Fees:

    • A restocking fee of 25% will apply to any returned items that are used, damaged, or not in their original condition.

Please ensure you carefully review the return policy specific to your special order to avoid any inconvenience. For further details or to initiate a return, contact our customer service team.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)


Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your item for the same one, you must first contact us at https://www.seagullwatchcompany.com/contact to receive approval.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

​

If you are shipping an item worth over $75, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item if it is not sent with tracking.
